"Charcoal and Clay" is a quiet walk along a cold shore. The land sits dark and heavy, its edges rough and broken, shaped by wind and long patience. The colours are deep browns, charcoal blues and rust.
Above it the sky hangs pale and still, soft with grey light. The land below fades into sandy tones and scattered marks, speckled and uneven suggesting damp earth, salt spray and the memory of rain.
Painted using high quality, lightfast watercolour paints on Arches watercolour paper. It is presented in a white frame with a thin edge and a profile that has a traditional look.
