Dividing Light
An atmospheric landscape of rolling green hills, mottled with darker patches of vegetation, shadow, or rocky outcrops. The greens vary subtly from olive to mossy tones, giving the land a natural, weathered depth. The hills converge toward the centre, forming a gentle valley that draws the eye inward.
Above, a heavy sky looms: deep blue-grey clouds sit beneath a lighter area of thinning cloud or filtered light. The edge between light and dark in the sky is soft and feathery, which adds a sense of moisture in the air. The contrast between the darkened hills and the pale, luminous sky creates a feeling of pause—perhaps just before rain or as light breaks through clouds.
A modern oak effect frame.
